Sam Black

Black, an Isle of Man, UK native, played collegiate soccer at Belmont University from 2013-2016 before serving as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Belmont men’s soccer team. After interning at Vanderbilt University and University of Texas, he returned to Belmont as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Prior to joining St. Louis CITY, Black served as the strength and conditioning coach for the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Marshall University. He was a member of Marshall’s 2020 NCAA National Staff of the Year, after helping Marshall to the National Championship title that year.
