Lundt spent the early stages of his career in the Hertha BSC academy system from 2011 through 2013 before earning a contract with Hertha BSC II on July 1, 2013. Following his academy career, Lundt moved to the U.S. and played at the collegiate level at University of Akron, helping Akron reach the NCAA Tournament Semifinals in 2017 and the Finals in 2018. Following a successful college career, FC Cincinnati drafted Lundt with the 37th selection in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
In February 2019, Lundt joined USL Championship side Louisville City FC on loan. Lundt made 27 appearances for Louisville while earning Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 2020. On May 6, 2021, the Berlin, Germany native joined Phoenix Rising FC for the 2021 USL Championship season for a second stint in the USL Championship and went on to play for two seasons. Over his four years in the USL, Lundt accrued 26 shutouts in 74 games.
